Dentistry Offered: Performance Dentistry: That could give you the winning edge you need for your performance horse. Maintenance Dentistry: For horses that have had dentistry to rebalance their mouth to keep your 4 legged friends pain fee and getting the most out of their food.
Problem Solving Dentistry: Balancing and reducing malocclusions from those horses that have never had dentistry done that maybe showing signs: shinny, dropping feed, quidding on feed, behaving badly and riding poorly. Instrumentation: I use hand floating for those that don’t believe in power tool or have had a bad experience with an unqualified person using them. I use power tools because it is a very precise an effective way of doing dentistry with minimal soft tissue damage to the inside of the horses / animals mouth and addressing high and problem teeth without touching any teeth that don’t need addressed to balance there mouths. I have been an equine dentist for over 5 years, In the last few years I have been doing lots of research and dentistry on all other herbivores and lots of bovine. I have 2 certification one is through The Academy Of Equine Dentistry and the other 1 is through The International Association of Equine Dentistry. I keep my certifications up to date by attending continued education every 18 months which is required to keep my certification. I find by doing this I always stay up to date with new procedures and techniques.
I've worked in the UK, Scotland and throughout Europe. I have also been to Tunisia. There are many horses in need of dental help around the world as well the USA and their owners to be in lighted of equine dental problems for young and old, fat and skinny horses alike. I travel around world wide as dentistry is done every 12 months or in corrective cases every 6 months.
I would love the opportunity to work with you in helping horses to be ridden pain free in their mouths and to give them the ability eat better to get the most out of their food. Also to educate the horse owners about what problems can be in their horse's mouth that could be causing bad behavior, riding problems and many other issues. I love spending time on hard to handle and special cases that need extra attention and I have no problem going the extra mile. There are a lot of misconstrued ideas and things about dentistry. It is part of my job to clear up and educate people on the truth about dentistry.
