The AAHA is a voluntary organization of small animal practitioners dedicated to providing quality veterinary care for their patients. Only 205 of the veterinary hospitals in the USA are qualified by the AAHA. Biography: My interest in being a veterinarian started early. I was lucky to have pets of many species when growing up. Biology and medicine always intrigued me; so it was natural to pursue veterinary medicine. I went to NDSU and then to Iowa State University for veterinary school. That was over 25 years ago and I still love what I do. My wife Tami and I are originally from Bismarck. We have two sons out of college working, and a daughter who is still in college. Our pets are the only kids still at home. Boomer an English Pointer, and Roxie a Bichon/Shitzu cross; keep our house active and never a dull moment.
