Two years ago, our family lost our beloved dog, Roxanne, over a holiday weekend and experienced first-hand how difficult it is to find compassionate care for pets in the Central Texas area. We were unable to find a facility near our hometown of Burnet, Texas and drove an hour and a half to the nearest facility that offered cremations. While the company we chose did an ok job, they could have done things so much better with much more dignity and respect. The experience made us realize that our community was missing an essential service that would benefit our neighbors. We paired with close friends Tony & Annie Wooten, and our families opened the first pet funeral home and crematory in the Highland Lakes.
