Located west of Sanger, Texas, A Slice of Heaven Custom Cakes is family owned and operated. Owner, Donna Bateman, has a lifetime of experience as she grew up making cakes with her grandmother, a professional baker. As an adult, her neighbors, coworkers and family looked forward to being nearby at Christmas time to enjoy her homemade baked goodies each year. Donna soon found that her love for baking and cake decorating provided her a natural extension to her artistic and creative talents. While working fulltime in the corporate world, Donna attended as many cake decorating classes as possible to improve her abilities. Soon, her hobby grew from family and friend requests into a business and A Slice of Heaven Custom Cakes was born.
