Originally born and raised in Marsala Sicily, William Sasso took interest in food at a very young age. He dreamed that one day he would serve his mother's traditional Italian recipes in a restaurant of his own. William came to the U.S in 1998 and slowly began gaining experience in all of the positions in restaurants. At the age of 21, William had finally succeeded in his dream and opened his own pizzeria. William opened Cuzzo's in the former Nick's location on March 6th, 2013. His passion and commitment continues as he strives to provide his customers with fresh, quality food at a great value.

The first Buona restaurant was established in Berwyn, IL in 1981, by Buonavolanto Patriarch Joe Buonavolanto, Sr. He was among the group of Italian Americans who perfected Chicago’s original Italian beef. The menu is a blend of old-school Chicago classics and next-generation menu choices – made from scratch with fresh ingredients.
