Sisters, Jenny and Bethany, started serving up lunch with a smile on Kentucky Lake in 2016 on a food boat! #Thefoodboat was featured on the Food Network in 2018, and the sister’s specialty sauces, BBQ, and quesadillas were showcased. The next year or so was spent in construction hats where both families took a hands-on approach of building what is now Sizzlin’ Sisters Grill located on Barge Island Road. If you ask the girls how they went from a boat to a full-service restaurant they will tell you it had to be God’s plan; while laughing and recounting some memories.
