Robert L. Treft, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a board-certified ophthalmologist who enjoys general ophthalmology with specialized certifications in LASIK, PRK and lens replacement refractive surgery, no-stitch and multifocal lens replacement cataract surgery, advanced glaucoma surgery along with other micro-surgical and laser eye surgeries. Dr. Treft attended the University of Utah School of Medicine where he graduated with high honors and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Treft opened his own private practice in Layton, Utah on the campus of DavisHospital and Medical Center in 1985, which later became the Mountain View Eye Center. He was one of the first physicians certified in Utah to use the FDA approved Excimer lasers to correct vision problems with LASIK and PRK.
