I am the current Chief Podiatric Resident Physician at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center (PMSR/RRA). I graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in June of 2022. I received my Bachelors of Science with Honors in Biology and Biochemistry from Calvin University (formerly Calvin College).

Dr. Benton-Weil, a Board-Certified Podiatrist, is accepting new patients! After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, Dr. Wendy Benton-Weil attended the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Benton-Weil has a passion for treating young athletes and for reconstructive surgery. She also has a large dance medicine practice and has been featured in Irish Dance magazine as a medical expert. Dr. Benton-Weil's philosophy in treating patients is that all patients deserve the highest quality medical care.

Dr. Joseph Kim is a board-certified podiatrist who is also board-certified in foot and ankle surgery. He has served patients from the Chicagoland area for over 33 years. A University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign alumnus, Dr. Kim graduated from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989 and completed residency at the Illinois Foot and Ankle Institute and Norwegian American and has since devoted his work and life to delivering only the best care for his patients.

A passion for podiatry runs deep in the Weil family. Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Dr. Lowell Weil Jr., grew up watching his father, Lowell Sr., work as a podiatrist in local hospitals and as the Team Podiatrist for the Chicago Bears. So, it was no surprise that Dr. Lowell Weil Jr. attended the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago for his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine after graduating from Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Anthony Borrelli has lived in the Chicagoland area for almost 40 years after being born and raised in New Jersey. After completing his medical and surgical training in the Chicagoland area, he and his wife remained here to raise their two daughters. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Borrelli completed four years of postgraduate surgical training while serving as Senior Resident during two of those years. Immediately after completion of his residency, Dr. Borrelli served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.

Dencel Ray Polintan, PT, DPT is a physical therapist who joined the Weil team in September 2021. He has been practicing since 2012 in various settings including orthopedic outpatient clinics. Dencel enjoys working with the pediatric population and believes in the importance of a good, evidence-based foundation. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines in 2012. He later obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Utica College in Utica, New York.

Dr. Finn is one of Weil's most experienced practitioners, with over 30 years in the field under his belt. His favorite part of podiatry is that he can make people feel better fast. Most of his patients come in with pain and leave feeling better in one visit! Dr. Finn is a Loyola graduate and studied podiatry at the William Scholl College. Dr. Finn is a Board-Certified Podiatrist and is also Board-Certified in Foot Surgery. His specialties include forefoot surgery and diabetic foot care.

Dr. Catherine Halinski has been a practicing Podiatric Physician for over 20 years in Buffalo Grove and Arlington Heights IL. She received her BS and DPM from Wm. M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Halinski's did her residency here in our wonderful city of Chicago. After residency, she started her practice in 1996 in a multi-specialty group, less than a mile from her childhood home in an effort to give back to the community where she was raised. Being exposed to a variety of diverse medical influences early in her career, helped her to become the doctor she is today.
