Lake Shore Behavioral Health, Inc. (LSBH) provides a comprehensive array of treatment and rehabilitation services to promote self-sufficiency, wellness and recovery, and an enhanced quality of life for individuals with mental health and addiction disorders. For more than 40 years, Lake Shore has built its reputation as an exceptional provider of mental health and substance abuse services at licensed locations throughout Erie County. LSBH focuses on providing effective, accessible, and culturally-sensitive services. The agency delivers a full range of services to a diverse, multicultural consumer population. For many years the organization has placed a strong emphasis on serving Hispanics through employing a cadre of fully bilingual, bicultural staff. LSBH operates licensed programs which include outpatient mental health and substance abuse clinics, Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS), Homeless Services, Supported Housing, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Health Home, Integrated Primary Care and Vocational Services. Lake Shore also operates a 22 bed residential treatment program for pregnant and parenting women and a 16 bed residence for chronically homeless individuals with mental illness. LSBH was incorporated as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation in 1972. It operates programs licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
