New Vision is a medical stabilization service for people with drug, alcohol, and related health issues. New Vision accepts appropriate patients who are experiencing withdrawal symptoms from drug and alcohol use. New Vision accepts most insurances, Medicaid, and Medicare plans. The service begins with a medically supervised hospital stay for the inpatient treatment phase, which typically lasts 3 days. Upon admission, initial assessments of the patient's fundamental needs are accomplished. These assessments include a medical history, physical, a complete laboratory workup, and a nursing assessment. Discharge planning will occur prior to leaving the hospital and the patient will be referred to appropriate community based treatment programs.
