Assefa is a 22-year-old student who has been on kidney dialysis in Ethiopia since October of 2010 with the money donated from the United States. He is now in process to come to the USA for a kidney transplantation to take place at Georgetown University Hospital as a probono service on a humanitarian ground. His younger brother is willing to donate one of his kidneys to help him live. But Assefa will need anti-rejection or immunorepressant drugs for the rest of his life. The drugs are very expensive to afford for his poor family without any insurance coverage. Therefore, he is seeking friends and benefactors to help him raise funds so that he will be able to have those anti-rejection drugs which he has to take them for all his life starting immediately after the hoped kidney transplant.
