Willow Haven Counseling seeks to provide trauma-informed care. We desire to help you build resilience and regain control of your life. We treat a variety of conditions including anxiety, panic, depression, isolation, self-esteem, and stress. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a collaborative therapy consisting of 8 different phases. Past traumatic events are identified as well as the negative belief networks associated with past events. When a person is ready to begin processing, bilateral stimulation (BLS) is utilized to reprocess memories to more adaptive neural networks.
