Dr. Bruce Saal was born in New York, New York in 1947. He attended Harpur College at the State University of New York at Binghamptom and graduated in 1968 with a degree in chemistry. He then attended Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana and earned his Medical Doctorate in 1972. After graduation from Tulane University, he completed a rotational internship at Los Angeles County -- University of Southern California Medical Center, Los Angeles from 1972 to 1973.
