RESPONDEK RAIL SERVICES INCLUDE Respondek Railroad Corporation is predominately a supplier of contract rail car switching services and of short line rail operations. Respondek Railroad is also owner/operator of the Squaw Creek Southern Railroad, a common carrier railroad in southern Indiana. Besides rail car switching, Respondek Railroad also has facilities for long and short term storage of both Hazmat and non-hazardous rail cars, along with a shop and equipment to do rail car cleaning, car maintenance and repairs. Respondek has crews for track inspections and repairs, such as tie and rail replacement, switch repair, etc. and also certified welders for rail cars repairs.
