The Petoskey Stone is the State stone of Michigan called the Hexagonoria sp. fossil. It is an ancient coral that existed 300 Million years ago and was located all across the Devonian formations of prehistoric times. While it is found all over Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and parts of Canada, it is most concentrated in MIchigan along the shoreline from Mackinaw to Petoskey, Charlevoix and Traverse City. I have several tons of these relatively rare stones, have the equipment to cut and polish and the experience to install them into your home as wall tile decorations, bathroom accents, ceiling tiles, and countertops. Quantities are extremely limited.
