I am John C. Fossum, owner of J. C. F. Woodworking. I have over 30 years experience doing only high-end woodwork. My work has been exhibited in museums across the U.S.A. Before this business I was co-owner of Dimensions In Furniture, Inc. for 13 years: a full service hi-end shop with 12 employees. In 1979 I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Furniture Design & Woodworking from Boston University's - Program In Artisanry, one of the best available. I will personally take charge of your project, including: original designs, expert field measuring and layout, shop drawings, fabrication, finishing, and impeccable installations. When needed, I employ help, but often work alone, which keeps quality up and costs down. During the first ten years of my current business I only had a garage to work in, so I focused on Installations and became an Installation specialist. In 2005 I set up my 2000 sq. ft shop.
