I started off doing residential renovation and new construction work, but didn't find it gratifying enough. So I got involved with furniture. I still love building chairs, but found that my specific skill set made me a superb cabinet maker. My clients loved their dining room table, but need a new kitchen more. That combined with my ability to match and or duplicate any style they needed led me into a custom interior business. Kitchens, bathrooms, libraries, wine cellars, pantries, closets and all types and forms of millwork. I have worked with clients in New York, East Hampton, Southampton, Bridgehampton, Massachusetts, Tennessee and Wisconsin so geographic location is not an issue.

My work can be found in hundreds of homes ranging from movie stars to the general public. My custom built-ins have added to the value of many properties. Over the years i have designed and made tables, desks, bookcases, entertainment centers, window seats, armoires, credenzas, kitchen cabinets, chairs, benches, bars, display cases, closets, dressers, frames, vanities and more. In addition, I offer expert repair and refinishing of furniture and antique restoration. Being an artisan, I make original pieces which are exhibited at venues including Craft and Antique Fairs, Galleries, Shops and on line. My "Collector" tables are for displaying your "Treasures".

Green materials include FSC certified wood, bamboo from Teragren and Plyboo, Durapalm, Kirei, and more. Finishing specialties include plant-based dyes, waterborne lacquers, and natural oils. Green cabinetry is still a fresh idea, and shall continue as a good one. A few years ago, when I began introducing green products in my Washington, DC area showroom,there were few green options when it came to choosing cabinets. As with organic food, supply and demand have increased by walking in step, increasing choices and quality control. Green options are now available for most wood species, in both lumber and plywood. We are a member of the USGBC-Long Island Chapter.
