Fasinated by the natural shapes and beauty of California Redwood Burl, Stephen began using his artistic abilities in 1972, creating hand sculpted redwood burl and driftwood furnishings. In 1982, an 8500 square foot custom woodshop was designed. It was built and equiped to service the wants and needs of home owners, builders, professional architects, interior designers and quality conscious customers, offering all types of architectural millwork and redwood burl furnishings. New Burlington Woodworks uses technique, creativity, and the percision of hand and machinery to meet all your needs. The redwood burl furnishings are offered in both freeform and contemporary designs. Stephen was soon accompanied by his son Ivan, a Union carpenter, to offer all of your home improvement needs.
