Founded by Richard Comeras, A-1 Foundation Crack Repair, Inc. has become one of the leading providers of advanced crack repair technologies servicing MA, RI, CT & NH. Rich, who has been in the construction business since 1980, founded the company after discovering the industry-leading A-1 Method as a solution for a severely fire-damaged and cracked house foundation. He knew from his construction experience that hydraulic cement and other available products could not fix the cracks. These products do not allow for the expansion and contraction of concrete due to extremes in temperature and weather. He was determined to find a solution. After significant research, Rich perfected a solution that involved new techniques and materials fine-tuned from dam repair technologies.
