Noble Coal was formed in 2004. It began as a contract mining company for Consol Energy in Central Appalachia. In 2005 Noble began leasing and permitting coal properties for mining. Noble has and or is mining in Pike, Floyd, Letcher, and Martin County, KY. Noble takes pride in being an environmentally conscious company. We put saftey and environment above production and profit. Our record speaks for itself. Noble has never had a major enviromental or safety violation.
