Aluminum castings are made using four methods: permanent mold, permanent tilt mold, dry sand (no-bake) mold, and green sand mold. Castings made are used in commercial, sports, automotive, marine, government, aerospace, defense, and other applications. High-quality aluminum alloy is purchased in ingot form, melted, and then cast so that each component is produced to customer specifications.
