We have been a family business for 25 years. In the 1920's my Great Grandfather began making centrifugal water pumps in his garage on California Street in Berkeley. Eventually to be known as BERKELEY PUMPS. My Grandfather & my Father were machinist & draftsman for 40yrs at Berkeley Pumps. The Berkeley Pump Co. sold to Transamerica in 1984. We kept most of the old employees started business in 1987 & my father made his own product line of End Suction Centrifugal water pumps. Recently STA-RITE bought the Berkeley Pump Co. & many products are being made & Assembled in Mexico & other parts of the world except the United States of America. We proudly manufacture & assemble our water pumps here in the US. We are old Berkeley Pumps. The Berkeley's pumps are completely interchangeable with ours.
