Calvary Church was called into existence by the Holy Spirit in November of 2002. It is a home missions Church that belongs to the Southern Baptist Convention. When Calvary Church was first launched it started with only 11 saints of God, a Bible, and a determination to Know Christ Personally and to make Him Known Personally! For several years Calvary Church met in vacant store fronts, schools, and even a movie theater that was being remodeled. We are in a more permanent location now at this beautiful building on Melmar Drive in Sparta, but we have not arrived. Our goal is to do God's will for God's Glory!
