Our program is a Free Faith-Based Inpatient Drug Prevention and Rehabilitation Facility, called to the task of serving the community by reaching out to the substance abuser, alcoholic, ex gang member and the homeless. Through an intense (6) six month program of character development, mentoring, life skills and constant supervision, we help men see and achieve their potential through spiritual help from God. We are successfully changing troubled men into responsible, productive Christian members of society and restoring their lives' to God's purpose. Chocolate Bayou Baptist Church is a church passionate about people. We are a church "under construction," just like most people's lives. We don't claim to have everything figured out, but we know the One who does. We are a church of imperfect people being perfected daily by Christ Jesus. Our pastor challenged us to become the most spiritually mature church in Alvin, Texas and its surrounding communities. This is not something that happens overnight.
