On October 1, 1983 Bishop Woodard accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior; and joined Second Baptist Church. On May 28, 1989, he was licensed to preach the gospel by his pastor, Dr. Floyd M. Blackwell. He was ordained by the Peninsula Baptist Pastor's Council on January 27, 1991, at Miracle Temple (formerly 2nd Baptist Church), N.N., VA & by Calvary Alliance of Churches & Ministries, Norfolk, VA April 27, 2001. He was consecrated into the bishopric March 20, 2011 & is under the covering of Presiding Bishop John N. Gray, Bethel Restoration Center, Williamsburg, VA. Bishop Woodard is a graduate of Boyce Bible College, a division of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY, 1998; and has a Bachelor Degree in Theological Studies from the Christian Bible College and Seminary, Independence Missouri, 2000. He is the founder of Church of the Living Word, birthed in January of 1993. God is using this servant to build a victorious church that lives the Word.
