Kenwood School began as an addition to our preschool Grasshopper Green. The preschool was established in 1939 by Mildred W. Frazer and is the oldest in Northern Virginia. Throughout the years Kenwood has consistently updated our curriculum to meet the needs of todays enviroment. Computers and computer usage is an everyday focus. Despite our modern approach, we still believe in a traditional education which includes the integration of reading, writing, oral lanuaguage, social studies, science and spelling. Manners and strong social skills are developed in everyday interactions. Kenwood is in a parklike setting offering a one on one learning enviroment.
