Founded in 1894, the Boonton Holmes Public Library (formerly the Holmes Library) continues its 116 year tradition of serving the informational needs of the residents of the Town of Boonton and citizens of Morris County and of the State of New Jersey. The Library has existed as a Free Public Library since 1994 and has recently embarked on a major round of renovations that will nearly double the public-accessible space with the building.
