ICE TUTORING offers a host of tutoring services in reading, writing, college essay writing, test-taking strategies, and study skills. Services rendered are planned through conversations with parents/guardians and tutees. In a supportive, encouraging environment, tutees gain confidence to take risks and hence, grow as writers and readers during these writing and reading tutoring sessions. For example, during essay writing tutoring sessions, tutees will stretch and build their writing muscles by reading mentor texts, talking about the engaging writing styles from the mentor texts, and then incorporating effective essay writing techniques in their own writing. During essay writing sessions, writing personality known as voice is fortified, enhanced, and supported. Every writer wants readers to say, “Wow, I couldn’t stop reading that essay!
