The Little Red Schoolhouse was founded in August of 2003 by the late, Imelda Robledo. Mrs. Imelda was a teacher for the greater part of her life as she taught for over 20 years at many school districts within the Rio Grande Valley. Her passion to understand and influence the young minds of her students transformed into a responsibility. She was in love with the art of teaching as she understood the importance of childhood education.

We've been at this location and have been instructing self defense to students for more than 8 years. We emphasize on increasing self-esteem, self-discipline, focus and concentration, courage, strength and endurance, and self defense. We have a big space, and is taught by the experienced 8th degree Grand Master Kim. Grand Master Kim has been teaching for over 40+ years. Children, Men, Women are all welcome to join, we instruct students over the age of 4.
