Alan Schrager grew up in Levittown, Pennsylvania, Willingboro, New Jersey and Stony Brook (Long Island), New York. A seasoned professional, Mr. Schrager studied under: Pete Heywood (The Fifth Avenue Band), Al Miller (Cab Calloway, Xavier Cugat, & Al Miller Big Band), John Kasica (Saint Louis Symphony), Bob Luther (Fairchild, Studio Jingle Work) and Bobby Dominguez (Russell Ferante of The Yellow Jackets). Graduated from Suffolk County Community College in New York with Associates in Liberal Arts Degree. Studied in the Jazz Ensemble under direction of renowned bassist, "Sonny Dallas". Performed in the USAF Band career field at Scott AFB, Illinois and March AFB, California performing in all ensembles. NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Appeared on "Nationally Televised Merv Griffin Show"
