Dr. Sandra Salazar is running for re-election to the Cerritos College Board of Trustees in 2016. As a physician, community advocate, and proud mother of 2 young children, Dr. Salazar is committed to improving the lives of others through action. As a Board Member since 2012,, Dr. Salazar has taken a strong stance to improve Cerritos College’s role as a resource and stepping stone for people in the community looking to advance their education and career. As the first in her family to attend college, Dr. Salazar understands the importance of making quality education available to everyone and is dedicated to making Cerritos College more accessible to the community it serves.
