The following is a partial list of the services provided by the Byron Fire Department for the community: Fire Suppression Services The department responds to incidents involving fires and explosions. Vehicle Extrication The fire department is trained and equipped to free victims trapped in vehicles at the scene of motor vehicle crashes. The extrication equipment also has the capability to free victims trapped as a result of industrial and construction accidents.
