South Boundary Fire is a tax based frie district comprised of an elected board of three commissioners(volunteer), a Fire Chief(full time) and 25 volunteer fire and support members. The district covers just under 50 square miles in Boundary County Idaho and does both wildland and structural firefighting, also assists the local EMS company on all medical calls within the district. The district has three fire stations, two are set up for resident firefighters.
