Cottage Health provides voluntary treatment of acute psychiatric crises, mental health counseling, and the most up-to-date, effective, and dignified treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction. Our pioneering psychiatry and alcohol and drug dependency programs have been dedicated to the most effective and dignified treatment of mental health, alcohol and drug dependency, and co-occurring disorders since 1975. We offer a comprehensive range of services to best suit our patients' needs and circumstances, including acute inpatient psychiatry and detoxification; residential alcohol, drug, and co-occurring disorders; rehabilitation; and several levels of outpatient treatment services in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. Our approach to care is integrative, family-oriented, and culturally sensitive. Treatment plans support each person's specific needs and include treatment modalities for dual diagnosis to address those with both psychiatric and chemical dependency needs.

Cottage Residential Center is located in beautiful Santa Barbara, just three blocks from the beach. We specialize in the treatment of alcohol and drug addiction, providing a warm, inviting setting to begin the journey of recovery. With 24 resident beds, we offer a reasonable cost alternative to a hospital setting, with the resources of Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital nearby. The program provides medically supervised care and is open to men and women 18 years and older. Our collaborative treatment approach includes a team of highly experienced chemical dependency professionals, licensed psychotherapists and registered nurses, with referrals to physicians with a specialty in addiction medicine (American Society of Addiction Medicine). Your care continues beyond our walls, as we help individuals integrate into appropriate community programs.

Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital (CRH) provides comprehensive medical rehabilitation services - both inpatient and outpatient - to empower people with disabilities to achieve optimum quality of life. Serving Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo counties for over 60 years, CRH is the Central Coast's premier provider of medical rehabilitation services. CRH serves people with brain and spinal cord injury, stroke and stroke-related disorders, musculoskeletal dysfunction, chronic pain, and other neurological and complex orthopedic conditions.
