Our mission is: To enrich the lives of individuals and families living with a disability. We provide, to the public, free of charge, numerous & varied wheelchair accessible home design ideas via Individualized tours of a unique 3,650 sq ft single family wheelchair accessible design demonstration home. Tours given by appointment, year 'round. Hands-on exploration of the designs found within the entire house, including adaptive equipment, is encouraged during an overnight stay in the Bed & Breakfast wing. "Living With Disability"- awareness inservice is available - your place or ours. The 18-acre rural grounds offer accessible trails & picnic areas through gardens, prairie, woodland. This award-winning program, operated entirely by qualified volunteers since 1989, is supported by donations.
