I used to work for a computer store which was always asking me to sacrifice quality for quantity. I wasn't even allowed to put in windows security updates or service packs with the rationalization they could do that if they wanted to when they got home. I felt that was shorting the customer and ended up going into business for myself, doing things the way I felt were best for my clients computer (with their input). Since working for myself, I went to school for my A+ Repair Certification to learn a little more about repair. I have listened to 100's of computer repair podcasts, took notes, and have a lot if "In the Trenches" Computer Knowledge. Now my son and I repair computers together.
