The Dorchester Report is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, land transfer report in the state of Maryland. Originating in 1925, it was adopted by the Jarrell family in 1968 and remains with them to this day. The report chronicles the deeds, deeds of trust, mortgages, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, judgments / liens and foreclosures for each month of the year. It is published on a monthly basis and may be purchased on a 6 month or yearly basis. The Dorchester Report will appeal to businesses which keep track of county land transfers and those who may have judgments, liens and foreclosures. In addition, residents of Dorchester County, who like to be kept informed of changes in land ownership and changing land values, also find this report valuable.
