Implicit bias is one of the underlying causes for discrimination and miseducation of the Human race. It effects the way that we see the world, and it effects the way that we see ourselves. It is limiting the opportunities of far too many children and adults all over the world, and we need to take proactive steps forward. Reaching Beyond Bias is a start-up committed to raising awareness about implicit bias through education, advocacy, and law via our online content, resources, workshops and action. The money will help us to develop a state-of-the art website with resources and collaborative content.. As well as a mobile app that will help anyone with a smart phone understand implicit bias. In addition to that, in the near future, we plan on being able to pay independent contractors to faciliate workshops, host seminars, write content, perform at events, take photos, be featured in our video content and much much more! I have had so many experiences that date all the way back in time that have caused me to shed light on this topic. A lot of us are tired of watching people and this planet get mistreated.
