Boat Safe Connecticut instructors are educators, each with more than 25 years experience teaching boating safety in Connecticut, or are State of Connecticut certified teachers. Our focus is on the student to make sure each one has the knowledge and ability to pass the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (D.E.E.P.) provided final class exam and be qualified to apply for a "Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation" (C.P.W.O. - boating and personal watercraft operators 'license') issued by the D.E.E.P. We provide the technology which enables students to obtain a required "Connecticut Conservation ID number" from the D.E.E.P. during class, and to allow those students who successfully complete the course to pay for and print their permanent C.P.W.O. certificate from the D.E.E.P. website at the conclusion of class. Boat Safe Connecticut, LLC, is authorized by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection as well as approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA.org) to instruct boating safety education classes in Connecticut.
