The Community Media Center is a nonprofit organization that operates Carroll County Maryland's public, education, and government access center. Our mission is to provide the facilities, equipment, and technical support necessary that "Makes Community Matter" by acting as a window into Carroll County's people and places. We are a non-profit 501c-3 organization. We see digital media as a tool to encourage participation in the life of your community. This tool can be used to educate, inform, entertain, and document. We believe that a strong democracy recognizes the right of everyone to affordably access the dominant means of communication ??? digital media.
