What I love most about El Paso is that it’s a big city with a small-town feel. The scenery here is beautiful: We’re home to the largest urban park in the nation, Franklin Mountains State Park, and we enjoy a lot of outdoor activities. Plus, we’re home to a minor league baseball team, the El Paso Chihuahuas, as well as Chamizal National Memorial and many other local attractions. Outside of work, I enjoy coaching boys’ basketball I like to make a difference in these kids' lives, and hopefully they'll do the same for someone else someday.

You might say I'm El Paso through and through. I was born and raised in this city and have spent much of my life here. It’s a great place to raise a family. When I was 18, I left El Paso to join the military, serving in the Air Force for nine years before returning to El Paso in 1996. I joined Allstate as an agent shortly afterward. My wife, Ruth, and I stay busy raising our two boys, and I also enjoy spending time with my adult daughter. In my free time, I enjoy coaching boys’ basketball. I coach about 30 boys between the ages of nine and 17 through the El Paso City League
