I've been a licensed lawyer in Raleigh since 1995 and owner of my own firm since 2001. I mostly represent small businesses in my practice, including commercial/ residential plumbers, electricians, painters, framers, etc... Two-thirds of what I do is contract disputes- collections, defect claims, and the like. While I have handled six-figure disputes, many of my cases are between $10-50,000 and some even less. The other one-third of my practice is transactional- drafting/ reviewing contracts, setting up new companies, and transferring businesses.
