Founded in 2001, The Law Office of Smokey Brown, PC arose from a vision that saw the need for a local law firm based in Irmo, SC. Through personal and familial relationships, careful planning, research, and hard work, Smokey’s vision of a law firm took root and continues to build into the future with a growing, changing Irmo community.

Ros Huff began specializing in the field of workers’ compensation when he became General Counsel of the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Fund in 1982. After 11 years as General Counsel, he practiced in the field of workers’ compensation for 6 years with a 100 lawyer South Carolina/North Carolina law firm. In 1998 he left the large firm to open a smaller, more responsive firm dedicated exclusively to the defense of workers’ compensation claims. The firm is committed to a concerned effort and efficiency in the handling of all client files. The firm is located in Irmo, South Carolina and is centrally located to all major highways and available to a statewide practice. The firm presently consists of two attorneys and three paralegals.
