My name is Felipe Walthrust, a Brooklyn based artist building a practice rooted in heritage, craftsmanship, and cultural storytelling. My creative work is shaped by two powerful influences: my grandmother Ada, who taught me that art preserves identity and memory, and my grandfather Carlton Walthrust Sr., whose technical mastery and discipline guide the way I design and build. Through my intellectual property, All For The Arts (AFTA), I create sustainable wearable art and mixed media pieces using recycled materials and intentional processes. My mission is to honor the past, reflect the resilience of our community, and inspire others to see the beauty and strength in their own stories.
