The Structural Engineering department consists of licensed structural engineers registered throughout the United States, each with extensive and practical hands-on knowledge and experience in all aspects of structural design including foundation systems, retaining walls, cast-in-place and precast concrete building systems, steel and wood framing. Our team is trained and knowledgeable in adhering to seismic, wind, water and impact code requirements for new construction projects. SFC has been involved extensively with a variety of new construction, renovation and mixed use projects throughout New England from educational, medical, residential, food service, retail, commercial, public safety and recreational facilities. The Fire Protection Engineering division of SFC has been providing preventative, life safety, building design, rehabilitation and expert fire safety advisory services for municipalities, governmental agencies, architects, developers and privately owned businesses for decades. Collectively, the fire protection staff of SFC brings more than fifty years of diverse fire protection engineering knowledge and hands on experience to the clients we serve and the communities we protect. The Civil Engineering Division of SFC is most often utilized by architects, developers, municipalities and a number of private business owners Our Civil Engineers are licensed throughout the states of NH, ME, NY, VT, MA and CT.
