Oak Point is a design studio-based practice, in which the in-house architectural design and engineering disciplines work together in studio teams from the very beginning of a project to ensure the greatest amount of cross-pollination. We have found that this approach allows us to be more inventive, efficient and adaptable than if these various disciplines were not together under one roof. The specific combination of disciplines that makes up a project team is customized to the needs of each project. The Oak Point Associates design philosophy is one that combines a highly innovative design approach with time-tested, "lessons learned" engineering methods.
