A CPA since 1985, Mike has been providing tax preparation services to individuals and businesses for more than 35 years. Mike received his BBA in Financial Accounting from Pace University in 1983. Following graduation, he joined Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), where he worked in the audit and tax department. Mike transitioned to the role of Senior Internal Auditor for Pitney Bowes in Stamford, CT. Mike is a lifelong resident of Greenwich, CT where he lives with his wife Geri and their two dogs. In his spare time, he is an avid NASCAR fan and previously owned a dynastic NASCAR Whelen Modified race team. The Michael Smeriglio Racing team was crowned NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Champions in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2019 Along with his driver, Doug Coby and crew chief, Phil Moran they are created a dynasty in short track racing on the east coast.
