Founded in 1970, Human Resources Unlimited (HRU) connects individuals who are disabled or disadvantaged to their community through vocational and life skills training and employment assistance. Working with more than 100 employer partners, in 2009, HRU programs helped over 1,500 individuals with disabilities use and develop their skills, earn wages, and contribute to the community as proud members of the workforce. HRU has offices and programs in Springfield, Westfield, Northampton, and Southbridge.
