As a special education advocate, my mission is to help families obtain the most comprehensive and effective exceptional student education services possible, in order to remove all barriers to growth, learning, and emotional well-being, in school, at home, and in the community. I can help you prepare for the IEP meeting with a carefully written agenda, outlining your requests for your child's placement, supports, and services, and aligned with the documentation provided by the professional evaluations. If you suspect your child has a hidden disability, such as a learning disability, you have the right to demand an evaluation from the school district at their expense. I will help you initiate evaluations, interpret the findings and create a strong IEP.
