In the early 1990s, Michael Doctoroff invented a VELCRO®-backed picture frame to help corporate employees decorate their bland, monotonous office cubicles. After a few years of sputtering sales, two huge picture frame orders came in one day. Both customers intended to use their purchase to distribute course completion certificates. With a fresh perspective, Mike promptly shifted gears. He changed the name of his company to Trainers Warehouse and set out to find more products for corporate trainers.
